* Python basics,
#### Main goals:
* to learn how to use LMGC90 with its rigid models.
* to learn the python pre-processor possibilities to manage large collection of rigid bodies.
* overview of some advanced possibilities of LMGC90 software.
#### Practical details:
* Location: at the LMGC, see [here](http://www.lmgc.univ-montp2.fr/spip.php?article102)
for the location of our buildings. Building 2, room 167.
* Materials needed, only a laptop with the wifi with either:
* Linux or MacOS and either:
- with the admnistration rights on the computer
- or
- all prerequisites installed beforehand (see [here](https://git-xen.lmgc.univ-montp2.fr/lmgc90/lmgc90_user/blob/master/README.md#pre-requisites) ) plus the [Paraview](http://www.paraview.org/download/) software.
* or
* Windows with:
- the [Anaconda Python distribution](http://continuum.io/downloads)
- once Anaconda is installed, open a conda terminal and type ```conda install vtk``` (and enter key)
- [Paraview](http://www.paraview.org/download/) installed
Important note: LMGC90 is originally developped for Mac/Linux operating system. So if you can please use one of these system. We have not much experience with Windows and it will be the first time that we will try a pre-compiled version of the Python module during a training session and unexpected errors are bound to happen.
